Lynn Kenneweg Obituary

Lynn Kenneweg
Today is a day where I think everyone should know that an earthbound ray of sunshine, Lynn Kenneweg found her way home Friday night. My Mom was a tremendous woman with a heart so full of love that it could barely contain it. Nevertheless she continued to pass that love around to her friends and family in the shape of tasty delectables....stuffed peppers, pies, pastries, you name it, she made it and if love had a taste you could find it there. Born in the wrong century, my mom was not a simple woman by far but a woman with simplistic views...cut the bull, so to speak. She had just gotten into Facebook prior to her passing, dear Lord I thought we were all doomed. My Mom was most content living with a garden, raising us three sons and of course her jams and jellies. She had little need for anything else. We were raised with so much love from her I believe that the bond we brothers have comes from her never giving up on that love. Now life is what life is, the corners, crevices, peaks and valleys. Everyone has them, some are just more pronounced than others. My Mom's willingness to never give up gave her the strength to overcome anything that was put in front of her and coming out smelling like roses...her words, not mine. That strength needs to be disbursed to all of us, we all could use it, I know I can. The last six months of her life were the best anyone could ask for. She was reunited with her siblings William Kenneweg, David Kenneweg, Brother John and her sisters Merry and Kathy which she wanted more than anything her whole life. She spent copious amounts of time with her granddaughters Devin and Eryn Latham and her grandsons Bradley, Joshua and Jordan. We brothers, Sean, Eric and Ryan have never worked so close together for a common goal, to make Mom happy. This event has sparked urgency for the remaining family members to realize we are all we have and we need to be the family my Mom always wanted.
Mourning is now not an option and clouds have given away to the sunshine of celebrating her life. To all of my family, I love you and will be here for you no matter what. And Mom, Jakie is doing just fine but you sure spoiled him rotten. Strength indeed.
A gathering to celebrate her life will take place on Saturday, August 3rd at 3129 Castle West Circle NW Massillon, OH 44647 from 5-9 P.M. Those who wish may bring a covered dish to the gathering. Memorials are suggested to assist the family with medical expenses.
