MARY SHAMMO Obituary
age 79, of Louisville, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2021. She was born November 21, 1941 in Cameron, WV to the late Wilbur and Ann (Stewart) Roberts, Mary earned her Bachelor of Science in Education from Kent State University, and her Masters in Education from Walsh University. She was an elementary school special education teacher at Green Elementary School. Mary was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, Canton, Order of the Eastern Star, and Stark County Farm Bureau. Her greatest achievement was being a Beloved Grandmother.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Raymond Shammo; children: Mark (Cary) Shammo, Melanie (Todd) Raines, and Valerie Timmons; grandchildren: Jacob Shammo, Hannah Whaley, Ty and McKayla Raines, and Logan, Madalyn, Layne, and Masyn Timmons; sisters, Marty (Mike) Hexamer and Sara (Jim) Weimer; and brother, David (Terry) Roberts.
A private funeral is planned with interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2551 55th St. N.E., Canton, OH 44721. Arrangements are under the direction of Karlo-Libby Funeral Home.

I have so many fond childhood memories of Aunt Mary. I loved visiting her on the farm and remember the great cook she was! She will be missed. My thoughts and prayers are with Raymond, Mark, Valerie & Melanie.
