Mildred I. Bresson, age 93, of North Canton, died Sunday April 30, 2006 in St. Luke Lutheran Community following a brief illness. She was born, June 19, 1912 in Canton to the late Fred and Mary (Sponseller) Cramer. Mildred was a 1930 graduate of McKinley High School and a 1932 graduate of Kent State University. She was a member of Little Flower Catholic Church where she had been active in the Altar Rosary Society and the Catholic Golden Agers. She was a member of Pomona, State and National Grange and a 50 year member of Plain Grange #2, she had also delivered Meals on Wheels for 30 years. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Bresson in 1980; one sister, Donna Jones. She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Joan and John Malloy of San Jose, CA; two sons and a daughter-in-law, Gary Bresson of N. Canton, Bernard and Chris Bresson of Louisville; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Mike and Stacy Malloy, Brent Malloy all of San Jose, CA, Kristin Malloy and her fiancée, Brian Gazzano of San Francisco, CA, Julie and Steve Safreed of N. Canton, David and Jill Bresson of Uniontown, Deanna and Charlie Ward of Canton, Jody and Lisa Bresson both of Louisville; four great grandchildren, Olivia, Tyler, Nicklaus and Emma. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday, May 4, 2006 at 8:00 p.m. in Little Flower Catholic Church with Msgr. Jay Clark as celebrant. A private family committal service will be Friday in North Canton Cemetery. Friends may call 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to St. Luke Lutheran Foundation at 200 Applegrove St. NE, N. Canton, OH. 44720.
