Nick Serri Obituary
Nick S. Serri, age 19, of Canton, passed away suddenly Thursday. A life resident of Canton, he was a 2007 graduate of GlenOak High School. Nick loved working on computers and playing video games. He was a member of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church. Preceded in death by his father, John A. Serri; grandfather, Domenico P. Serri; and uncle, Mitch Klotz. He is survived by his mother, Donna (Klotz) Serri of Canton; paternal grandmother, Joan C. Serri of Canton; maternal grandparents, Shirley J. Brumbaugh of Massillon, Glen and Sharon Klotz of Malvern; aunts, Joan (Ray) Iarussi of North Canton, Debbie (Paul) Myers of Massillon, Melody Klotz of Canton, Kelly (Randy) Stackhouse of Carrollton, Vicki Klotz of Akron; uncles, Domenico "Bud" (Lynn) Serri of Perry Twp., Edward (Brenda) Serri of Malvern, Andrew (Becky) Serri of St. Louis, MO, David (Kathryn) Serri of North Canton; and many cousins. Nick will be deeply missed by all his family. Family and friends will be received on Monday from 6-9 p.m. in the Rossi Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 10 a.m. in Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Thomas Crum as celebrant. Interment will be in Forest Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the family c/o Rossi Funeral Home.

Dear Donna,
I signed Nick's guest book last week, but it never showed up.
Our hearts break for you - and for all of us, Nick's family. He was always going to be able to be with John, in God's good time.
Pomp and I will always cherish our memories of our times with Nick: our countless Harry Potter nights, our many Aunt Joanie and Uncle Pomp's Back to School Luncheons, Nick helping us move Adam into his apartment in Kent... We wish we had more time to build more memories.
