Peggy Blake Obituary
70, passed away on April 22, 2017. She was born on April 24, 1946 the daughter of the late William and Lilly Phillips. Peggy was a woman of great faith and was a member of Massillon Baptist Temple. She was also a Sunday school teacher for 27 years. Peggy made her house a home for family and friends. She had many achievements but her greatest was the love of her family and her enjoyment of her beloved grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, David L. Phillips. Peggy is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert T. Blake; children, Robert W. (Gail) Blake, Karen (Mike) Detrow and Krystal (Jason) Dean; grandchildren, Bryce Blake, Kensington Blake and Christian Dean; brother, William B. (Carol) Phillips; sister, Charlotte (Bob) Kemp; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Tuesday from 5 to 8:00 p.m. at the Reed Funeral Home (CANTON CHAPEL) where services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. with an HOUR prior visitation at Massillon Baptist Temple (1219 Overlook Ave SW., Massillon 44646) with Pastor Cecil Thayer officiating.
