When all is silent, the funeral has past, and friends & family now return back to their daily lives, know that GOD is still there, He hears and knows all things, lift your eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh your help. Please know that you all are in my thoughts and my prayers. GOD Bless!

To the Mingo Family, please accept our condolences on the loss of your love one and you are in our thoughts and prayers.
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord God will wipe away tears from off all faces.--Isaiah 25:8
"They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat … and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.

"He Himself has said,
I will not in any way fail you
nor give you up
nor leave you without support."
Hebrews 13:5
May your troubled heart
find peace and comfort in the knowledge
that you are never alone.
May God's presence ease
your trembling spirit and give you rest.
He knows how you feel.
He is ever aware of your circumstances
and ready to be your strength,
your grace, and your peace.
He is there to cast sunlight
into all of your darkened shadows,
to send encouragement through the love
of friends and family, and
to replace your weariness with new hope.

God is your stronghold,
and with Him as your guide,
you need never be afraid.
No circumstances can block His love.
No grief is too hard for Him to bear.
No task is too difficult
for Him to complete.
When what you are feeling
is simply too deep for words
and nothing anyone does or says
can provide you with the relief you need,
God understands.
He is your provider --
today, tomorrow, and always.
And He loves you.
Cast all of your cares on Him...
and believe.

With our deepest sympathy Willie & Angela Harris

To the family of Pete Mingo, please accept my condolences on the loss of your father. I am proud to say that I was a good friend of your father. He has worked for me at the Ford Motor Company for many years. He was a dedicated and hardworking employee, also very dependable. He always had a positive attitude about everything he did. He was a good Christian person who had a lot of respect for his fellow co-workers. I know he will be sorrowly missed. Signed, Donald B. Day, former supervisor of Mr. Mingo

To all the Mingo family,
I've known your father for many years. He was one of the kindest men I have ever known. When he came into our office, he always had a smile on his face. I know he faced many sad times in his life but it never showed. We will all miss his wonderful stories of all his children and grand children. He was so very proud of all of you. Our hearts and prayers go out to you all. I will remember him always.

Grandpa, God has called his faithful servant home and now it is HARD to let u go and not to ever hear your voice again (unless I play my voicemails). You don't have to worry about the aches and pains you use to tell me about anymore when I asked because you never complained. You, grandma, and momma are back together again and I want to see u all again on the other side with the rest of our loved ones. It was your prayers Deacon Mingo and the “get-it-together” talks growing up that inspired me to step out on faith and always put my hand in God's hands and I thank you. . .thank you for never turning your back on us when we lost our Father in 1989 and became “Fatherless” and thank you for never turning your back on us when we lost our Mother in 2009 and became “Motherless”. You really touched my heart when you would say you can always talk to your grandpa . . . there is nothing in life that I have not been through. I’m here if you want to talk, pray, or cry after momma passed. I will always treasure in my heart as children on momma’s birthday you would always come get us (President’s day-No school) while momma was at work to get her a card, a cake, ice cream, and gifts for her just to put a smile on her face when she got home to greet us. Those smiles and times were priceless : ) Before we ended our last conversation about 3 days before you were called home we said at the same time “I love you”. . .who would have known that those were the last 3 words we would ever utter to each other? So again grandpa “I love you” and will see you again in the spirit.

To the Mingo Family: May God bless all of you during this difficult time. It is never easy to get through the passing of a loved one. But, our Lord in Heaven gives us the strength to overcome all adversities in life. Be comforted in knowing that Peter lived a full, rich, and purposeful life. My father, the late Alphonso Williams, Peter's uncle, often commented on the wonderful times they shared growing up in Miller's Ferry, Alabama. Their closeness remained throughout their lives. All of us, including my mother, Bernice B. Williams, will continue to keep all of our cousins in our thoughts and prayers. This is a time for all of us to strengthen our faith and to resolve to do His will while we can. Peter provided a wonderful example of faithfulness for all of us. May God continue to guide, comfort, and strengthen you during the days ahead. Just lean on Him!
