Richard Brown Obituary
“Together Again”
age 90, of Massillon, passed away Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Allay Senior Care. He was born May 22, 1927 in Weirton, W.Va. to the late Harry and Thelma (Miller) Brown. Richard was a graduate of Jackson High School, and class president for the Class of 1945. He worked as a driver for Superior Meats for 30 years, and was a member of Canton Baptist Temple.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Joanne Brown; and brother, Harry Brown, Jr.. He is survived by his daughter, Cheryl Duncan; son, Terry (Lisa) Brown; grandson, Jason Duncan; great grandchildren, Kayla and Kamber Duncan; and sister, Ruth Shengle.
Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Thursday in the Karlo-Libby Funeral Home. Interment in Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call from 10-11a.m. on Thursday, one hour before services at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. John's Villa, 701 Crest Street NW, Carrollton, Ohio 44615 or Canton Baptist Temple, 515 Whipple Ave. NW, Canton, Ohio 44708.
