RICHARD LASKEY Obituary
89, passed away on June 11, 2021. He was born on August 31, 1931 the son of the late George and Katherine Laskey. Richard graduated from Timken High School with the class of 1949. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force during The Korean Conflict. Richard was stationed in France where he met the love of his life, Christine. He was a man of great faith and was a member of St. Joan of Arc. Richard enjoyed golfing and the many camping trips with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and brothers Ernie, George, and Jimmy. Richard is survived by his loving family,
his beloved wife of 65 years, Christine M Laskey; children: Rosemary (Joseph) Rodojev, John (Karen) Laskey, Linda (Jerry) Shortt, Laurie (Don) Norris, and Richard (Michelle) Laskey Jr.; niece, Judi Laskey; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reed Funeral Home (CANTON CHAPEL). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church (4940 W. Tuscarawas St.) with Rev. Fr. G. David Weikart as Celebrant. Interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery. The family invites you to visit:
