Richard Moody Obituary

Richard O. Moody
age 78, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, Sept. 2, 2012 following an extended illness. Richard was born in Canton, Ohio on Jan. 1, 1934 to the late Donald and Laura (Oyster) Moody. He retired from the Timken Co. after 30 years of service. Richard was an Army veteran and a member of the Fairhope United Methodist Church.
Richard is survived by his wife, Barbara; a daughter and son-in-law, Linda (Steven) Donant of Bolivar; two sons and daughters-in-law, Thomas (Linda Lou) Moody of Massillon, Daniel (Pamela) Moody of East Sparta; a sister, Norma Miller; and a brother, Donald Moody; eight grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a brother, Milton Moody.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Friday in the Stier-Israel Funeral Home in Louisville with Pastor Ted Fellows officiating. Calling hours will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Evergreen Memorial Garden.
