Richard Sarbach Obituary
age 75, of Malvern, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 4, 2017 after an 11 year battle with Parkinson's. Rick was born August 11, 1941 in Canton to the late Walter and Mary (Algeo) Sarbach. He retired from GBS Filing Solutions, is a member of the Resurrection Lutheran Church in Malvern and is a 1959 graduate of Malvern High School. He was a former member of the Malvern Chapter of the Jaycees and a formerly served on the Malvern School Board.
He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Sandy (Williams) Sarbach, whom he married July 21, 1962; two sons, Brian (Kimberly) Sarbach and Brett Sarbach, both of Malvern; brother, Greg (Sherry) Sarbach of North Canton; two sisters, Lorna (Lee) Noren of St. Augustine, Fla., Brenda Russell of Delray Beach, Fla.; two grandchildren, Chase and Kendall Sarbach who were his pride and joy. He is preceded in death by an infant sister, Ronna Sarbach and a brother-in-law, Richard Russell.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 p.m. in the Gotschall-Hutchison Funeral Home in Minerva with Pastor Kevin McLeod and Chaplain Larry Karlen officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery. Calling hours will be one hour prior to services from 2-3 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center for Neuro Science Research. Sue, thinking of you. These days seem to never get any better. Max has been gone over 36 yrs. and this morning I found myself shedding tears over the loss - and remembering a particular night, listening to a lovely song on the radio, "Poetry in Motion," and so thankful to have him by my side. I haven't seen you for soooo long and I do miss you. Time and distance takes us away from most of our loved ones, but the memories of "long ago" still linger. God Bless you.

Thinking of you, Sue. Hope you are doing well. I miss our good times with family so many years ago. I turned 88 today - so hard to believe. Time passes so quickly. I have fond memories of sitting at the lake with Sandy and Rick and listening to their stories.
