To My Baby Bud I miss you everyday, all day it doesn't matter if I'm working, home or away. I never stop thinking about you. It's our second birthday without you; I can't kiss you Happy Birthday or even good night. Losing you takes my breath away. Mommy doesn't know how to go on I just keep trying. I can be in a room filled with people and still feel so alone. I cry so hard at times. I just want to die to be with you, then I think of your sisters and oh what they would do. That is why I'm still here everyone around us knows that to be true. I have always been both mom and dad to all of you. When I go out and see someone that resembles you I can hardly function I just want to bring you back to me so I can enjoy our life like we had. I have so many memories, and how you were always the baby the one and only baby boy that will ever be. For the rest of my life I will never get over that you are gone but I must adjust for your sisters. Many don't know a mother's love of a murdered son. I would have taken the shot for you so you could be here and I would be there with grandpa, you were way to young to die. I would give my life to be able to say hey Bud, get up it's time for school or Bud every decision you make today will last you a lifetime. It will be two years August 11 and not a day goes by I don't remember our phone call 40 minutes before you died. When you said I love you mom I'll be home soon and I said be careful Bud I love you, I'll see you soon. Then someone tried to play God and now look at the lives that are gone not only yours but our whole family has lost and none of us know how to heal from the loss of you. We will not win until you are there to meet each of us again. Happy 20th Birthday my dearest son.
