Robert Hershman Obituary

Robert E. Hershman
Age 85, passed away Sunday evening in Carroll Healthcare Center. He was born July 1, 1926 in Preston County, W.Va., son to the late John and Etta Mae (Funk) Hershman. Robert was retired from Kempthorne Motors as a mechanic and was a member of the Canton Baptist Temple where he had been active in the Ambassador Group. Besides his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Audrey (Burns) Hershman in 1985 as well as eight brothers and sisters.
He is survived by his brother, Charles Hershman of Rowlesburg, W.Va., as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be conducted Thursday at 11:30 a.m. in the Reed Funeral Home Canton Chapel with Rev. Delaney Young officiating. Interment will be in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. Calling hours will be held two hours prior to the service from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the funeral home.

We have had the good fortune to know Bob for many years and are grateful for having known him. His kindness and always positive attitude were a blessing to us. We will miss seeing him each Sunday in his usual place at CBT. Tom and Marilyn Henry
