Robert McKernan Obituary
Dennis McKernan
age 29, passed away unexpectedly Dec. 31, 2014. He was born to Dennis and Kathie (Kritzer) McKernan Aug. 18, 1985 in Canton. He was a 2003 graduate of Perry High School.
After high school, Rob served his country in the United States Air Force working in missile maintenance. He worked as a tool pusher for Franks Casing. Rob loved life and pushed the envelope by riding motorcycles, four wheelers. He was a diehard Ohio State Fan and had his Man Cave decorated in Scarlet and Gray colors. Rob was the life of the party and enjoyed spending time hanging out with his friends. He will forever be remembered as a loving father, son, brother, uncle and friend.
He is survived by his son, Bentley McKernan; his parents, Kathie (Michael Foehrenbach) McKernan and Dennis (Kathy Walker) McKernan; his sisters, Michelle Batdorf, Dawn Dazey, Rachel (Ronald) Patterson and Megan (Ross Stephens) McKernan; his brothers, Dennis J. McKernan and Shawn (April Rose) McKernan; the mother of his child, Jessica Barnhart; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ryan McKernan; and his grandparents.
A celebration of his life will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday, Jan. 8, 2015 from 4 to 8 p.m. and one hour prior to the service Friday. Burial will be at Massillon Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions will be accepted to the Bentley McKernan Fund, Mail to: Dennis McKernan, 8021 Manchester Road S.W., Lot #29, Navarre, Ohio 44662.

I pray for peace for the whole family during this time of loss. As Bentleys teacher at Perry Heights, I just want to say how sorry I am and I will be sure to give Bentley extra hugs when he returns to school. We love our Bentley, he's such a great child.
