Roger Mounts Obituary
age 43, of Canton, Ohio died suddenly in his residence on Wednesday, May 7, 2014.
He was born Dec. 11, 1970 in Canton, Ohio and was the son of Claude Edward Mounts Sr. of Beach city, Ohio and the late Barbara Lynn Diveley Kieffer.
In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a brother, Claude E. Mounts Jr.
Roger was a familiar face in Canton, as he was known to walk virtually everywhere he went. Roger was a fan of science-fiction movies and television programs.
In addition to his father, he is survived by his step-mother Sandra Mounts of Beach City; two half-sisters Tina Mounts of Louisville, Ohio, and Mrs. Dale (Dawn) Gilmore New Philadelphia, Ohio; and two half-brothers Willard E. (Jamie) Kieffer Jr. of Mineral City, Ohio and Bobby Kieffer of Sherrodsville, Ohio.
Graveside services were conducted 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 14, 2014 in the New Cumberland Cemetery with Pastor Richard Harvey officiating. The Baxter-Gardner Funeral Home at Sherrodsville handled arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made for the benefit of the family through the funeral home.
