Rosemary DePasquale Obituary
of Canton, passed away peacefully on July 19, 2016, at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born in Canton on Sept. 11, 1929, to the late Walter and Irene (Easley) Myer. Rosemary graduated from Lincoln High School, class of 1948, where she was the football homecoming queen. She also was a member of the Lincoln Lady Lions basketball team. As a lifelong Catholic, she was a member of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. A loving and devoted wife, Rosemary was married for 48 years to Frank A. DePasquale who preceded her in death on April 24, 2000. Coming from a large, loving family Rosemary was also preceded in death by her siblings: Donald Myer, Dorothy DeVille, Theresa Whitmer, and Jane Wernet.
She is survived by her loving children: Mark (Lavonia), Michael (Jeanne), Daniel, David (Lauren) and Frank (Melanie); she treasured her 15 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and her faithful canine companion Nicky.
Family and friends will be received Friday morning from 9 to 10 a.m. at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m., with Rev. Fr. Donald King officiating. Interment will be held in Calvary Cemetery. The family would like to thank the Doctors and staff at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made, in Rosemary's name, to Aultman Compassionate Care Center or St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church.
