I can't believe its been 10 years without your physical touch. I miss you! There's on one on earth like you, although you did a wonderful job imparting the phenomenal things about yourself into your children. I know you see the strong man & woman they are. We are better for having them, just like we were for having you. It is an honor to be your niece! I love being an auntie because you put that there by your daily example. There's not enough space to express my gratitude for the countless seasons you've taught me through your life. I yet learn through your departure. I learn to trust God, trust myself, and to trust the process! Thank you my queen for pouring yourself out like a drink offering to benefit a generation & change our lives forever! #forevershanaboo

Shana, was a delight to be around. Her sense if humor just put people at ease, adults and children. She was a blessing to us all when she attended our church. And it was always great to spend time with her again when she came to the Christmas, Easter programs we had. She will be greatly missed by all.
May you find peace in the beauty that surrounds you, Strength in the support of those who love you and hope in each new day,

With much Love,
Connie Hoffman

Shana, How do you describe Shana. My good friend, quiet, serious, funny, and very attentive. She surely looked up to her Dad. I remember in church on Sunday several years ago, Buddy was preaching about the benefits God has for us and his gifts. He asked “How much more does God give us?” Shawna said “Much more”, and Buddy screamed “MUCH MORE”. We all jumped, but Shawna was in the front row and he scared her the most and she jumped and we all saw her and we all busted out in laughter. We never forgot that, and to this day I still smile when I think of how close this Father and his daughter loved God and each other so much. God and Shawna gave me MUCH MORE. Peace and Strength to her family.

Love, Jackie Davis

To the family of Shana Garner; May God comfort you in this time of need. May he stretch out his hands and shelter you with love. Shana was a dear friend to my Mother, Rose Chittum and I. Shana worked with my mother at Hometown Buffet for several years. That is where their friendship prospered. I too, had the privilege of knowing a wonderful woman as she. I am a Sophomore at Stark State majoring in Social Work, where Shana and I grew closer. She was an absolute blessing and a wonderful spirit to be around. My grandmother would say Shana loved you boys. It was true she would do anything for us at any time. She gave me my first job, watching Jason & Tiffany whils she went to work at the Jail. She was my first driving instructor, that didn't last long... She showed me that laughter is important in the good times as well as bad. Shana was the family comic relief and we will miss her for that but we will always remember her for the same. She always told me that when she passed she did not want people to cry and be sad but to have a party instead. Play the music she liked and laugh. I always told her I would do just that. I just never thought the day would come so soon. To Jason, Tiffany and anyone that reads this please be encouraged by life Shana lived. The struggles that she went through and overcame. The laughter she brought into your life. So stop crying and have that party she always wanted... I Love you Auntie S...

If you've ever had an aunt like mine, one you could talk to, laugh with, cry with, be real with and not be judged or belittled for your inadequacies, you were better than blessed, you were favored by God. It was an honor to be her niece & a privilege to learn so much from her simplistic teaching, no matter how complex the reality of the lesson was. I've learned the urgency of making a difference ALL the time, not just when I choose to because it's not about me but the one who's in need of what I possess. It could be a simple smile or hug, or as much as laboring with someone that seemingly doesn't wanna change yet needs that ONE that won't give up on them, that shows true love in spite of their current condition. I salute her as the general she was, willing to take the hits for the greater cause of the mission. She never left her troops hanging, she was always the last one standing right there with them! That's just how Shana was. I will miss her tremendously! So I say thank you for being like a Timex watch, and taking the lickings & keeping right on ticking! I will cherish & hold ever so close to my heart all that I've learned from you! I will be there for Jason & Tiff always, I will never forget the love that emanated from you. You're priceless Shana Boo! I will love you always.
