My thoughts and prayers are with the family during your hour of bereavement. Ted was a wonderful, free spirit who I had the pleasure of knowing since 1976. We were co-workers in the Fulton County Sheriff's Dept. 'He shared many wonderful stories about his childhood and family. He will be longed remembered for his wit and his enthusiasm for the computer, ham radio and Civil War relics. "May the family be comforted in knowing that 'In Christ there are no endings ...only beginnings.'"

Unless one is a hermit, his life is intertwined with others, These connections come and go and are sometimes good and sometimes not. I was fortunate to have had Ted as one of my connections the past few years. He will be missed.

God is near to those that are broken at heart … a refuge and strength, a help that is readily to be found during distresses (Psalms 46:1). May God grant you the comfort and strength that you need during this time of grief and loss.
