Daniel Allen Dickhoff

1976 - 2014

Daniel Allen Dickhoff of Bailey was the youngest son of Mary and Ed Dickhoff of Evergreen. In addition to his parents, he leaves four brothers and two sisters, nieces, nephews, an uncle and aunts. He also leaves his fiancee and three stepchildren, and more friends than we can count.
Dan died suddenly on the morning of July 10, 2014, of a severe asthma attack.
He was born in Colorado in 1976. The family moved to Evergreen in 1983, where he attended Wilmot Elementary School, starting in first grade, then attended Evergreen Middle School. He graduated from Jefferson County Open Living School in 1996.
Beginning in high school, he spent several years working for Dick's Hickory Dock restaurant and then went to work for Observe Inc. of Denver. His Observe job took him to California in 1997, and he lived there until he returned to Colorado in 2012.
Dan and Rebecca Hinkson were to be married in October.
Our beloved Dan left many footprints and touched a lot of hearts.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 25, 2014, at Horan & McConaty, 3101 S. Wadsworth Blvd., Lakewood, from 3 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Evergreen on Saturday, July 26, 2014, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at the Bear Creek Cemetery next to the church. A celebration of life gathering will be held afterward at The Meadows at Evergreen, 6851 Highway 73, Evergreen.
