Adam Irving John Loos

Adam Loos Obituary

LOOS, ADAM IRVING JOHN June 19, 1958 - October 6, 2008. Adam Irving John Loos, 50, of Severna Park, Maryland died and was lifted into God's loving white light on October 6, 2008, after a long illness with cancer. He was a loving and devoted father to his son, Austin Loos, and a wonderful brother to his sisters, Fern Loos Beu, and Dyan Loos Brasington, both of Severna Park, and his brother Marc Loos of Stillwater, Minnesota. He will be deeply missed by his nephews Tyler Wade Loos and David Brasington and his nieces, Madeline Loos and Meghan Marie DiFranco. Born in St. Petersburg, Florida, he worked joyously as a professional musician, until moving to Maryland where he began a second career as a computer analyst. He worked at Booz Allen Hamilton until the time of his death. Adam was a gadget-guy, always tinkering with electronic equipment. But, at heart, he was the quintessential family man. He loved doing anything with his extended family and was deeply devoted to his friendships. His relationship with his son was the center of his existence. The viewing and memorial service for Adam will be held at Barranco and Sons Funeral Home, located at 495 Ritchie Highway, Severna Park, MD 21146, from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM on Saturday, October 11, with a memorial service following, beginning at 12:00 PM. www.barrancofuneral.com. After the Service, friends are invited to a gathering at the home of Fern and Fred Beu at 94 Point Somerset Lane, in Severna Park, MD. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the National Cancer Institute at NIH in Bethesda, Maryland.
