Alfred Prout Jr.

Alfred Hall Prout Jr., 69, of Pine Grove, WV and formerly of Lothian, died June 16. Born March 19, 1945 to the late Alfred H. Pout Sr. and Laura Tayman Pout, Alfred graduated from Southern High School in 1963. He retired from Bell Atlantic as a cable splicer in 1992 after 29 years of service. He was a member of the NRA, Mannington Moose Lodge and Mannington Elks Lodge and a member of the St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mannington. He is survived by his wife, Mary Groves Prout of Pine Grove, WV; sons, David Allen Prout and wife Lisa of Arnold; two daughters, Laura Kelly Prout of Pine Grove and Annette Riley and her significant other, Mark DiFore of Churchton; step-mother, Anna Prout of Lothian; brother, George Edward Prout and wife Doris of Panama; three grandchildren, Blake Prout, Stephanie Riley and Samantha Riley; great-grandson, Jospeh Riley. A Memorial Service will be held 5 p.m., July 21 at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Mannington, WV.
