Amanda Marie Troll of Chester, MD passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 35. She was a loving daughter, sister, and aunt. Amanda is survived by her parents, Denise, and Thomas Troll; maternal grandparents, Donald and Dolores Caputo; sister, Denise and Brendan Fuhrman; niece, Lucy and nephew Nicholas Fuhrman; many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Robert and Mary Jane Troll, and nephew, Matthew Fuhrman. Amanda was born on August 15, 1985, in Silver Spring, MD to Denise and Thomas Troll. She was a graduate of Kent Island High School and obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Maryland. Her career began with the State of Maryland as a Court Commissioner in Kent and Talbot County for six years. In 2013 she transferred to Anne Arundel County Detention Center as a Correctional Program Specialist II. She also worked part-time as a Cashier for Acura of Annapolis. Amanda was known for her sense of humor and her ability to light up any room with her personality. She was happiest spending time entertaining family and friends. She was always ready to take the next big trip to Ocean City or have a fun night out. She enjoyed cooking and hosting events at her home, but most of all, she loved spending time with her niece and nephew. Amanda had so much more to give and will be deeply missed by all those who knew her. A celebration of life will be held Saturday, September 18, 2021, at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 106 Shamrock Rd. Chester, MD 21619, from 1-5pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Amanda can be made to Queen Anne's County Animal Services, 210 Clay Dr. Queenstown, MD 21658 and/or Saving Future Feral Cats, 205 Bay City Rd. Stevensville, MD 21666.
