Angelo D. Magafan

Angelo D. Magafan passed away peacefully on Friday, February 9, 2018. He graduated from the University of Maryland in 1982. Angelo worked hard all his life at Alpha Foods and was the final owner. He helped many people in the restaurant business. He also owned Au Pied De Cochon a landmark restaurant in Georgetown from 1996 to 2004. Devoted son of Sophie Magafan and the late Dimitrios Magafan. Dear brother of Eugenia and husband Antony Stubos. Also survived by a host of loving relatives and friends. Family will receive friends at the family-owned BEALL FUNERAL HOME, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte. 3 South), Bowie, MD on Monday, February 12, 2018 from 5 to 7pm with a Trisagion service at 6pm. He will lie in state on Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 9:30 to 10am at St. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Road, Annapolis, MD; followed by a funeral service at 10am. Interment, St. Demetrios Cemetery, Annapolis, MD. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
