Brian Weiss Obituary



of New Berlin, WI, died January 3, 2017 at age 45. He was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 11, 1971. Husband to Tamara (Gnat) Weiss for 14 years. Predeceased by his grandfather Thomas A. McMahon and uncle Thomas Gordon McMahon. Beloved son of Diane McMahon and stepfather Phillip Michalovitz, he is further survived by his cherished grandmother Thelma M. "Trucky" McMahon of Bowie, Maryland; sisters, Shannon (Dave) Cofield and Allison (Peter) Braun; nephew Benjamin Thomas, cousins, extended family members and dear friends. His professional career was in technology and he was employed at JDA Software. His unique perspective, loyal friendship, sense of humor, insightful writings and inventive ideas will be deeply missed. A memorial celebration of his life was held at Suminski Funeral Home in Milwaukee on January 14, 2017.

I had no idea he'd passed. I'd known Brian from UW-Waukesha's radio station back in the early '90s. We were never close friends or anything, but I always thought he was a good person. My sincere belated condolences to his family and friends.
