Carole Collier Obituary
Carole Ann Collier, 67, a 20-year resident of Millersville, died Dec. 17, 2009 at Anne Arundel Medical Center from complications due to a long- time illness.
Born April 20, 1942, in Bruns wick, Md., Carole was a graduate of Surrattsville High School in Clinton.
For more than 30 years, Carole worked as a draftsman with Prince George's County, Ben Dyer Associates and Chisholm Webber and Associates. In her spare time Carole enjoyed ceramics, gardening, landscaping and caring for her numerous kittens.
Carole is survived by her husband, Walter G. Collier, whom she married on Sept. 9, 1962; her son, Sean "Rocky" Collier of Sacramento, Calif.; her daughter, Tracy Collier of Rockville; and a brother, Robert Cornell of Edgewater.
Friends are invited to Carole's Life Celebration from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at the George P. Kalas Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, where services will be held at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 29. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the SPCA of Anne Arundel Co., P.O. Box 3471, Annapolis, MD 21403.
