Cora Francis Ruby (nee Patterson), 84, died January 17. Cora was a 20 year member of Friendship Square Dancers Club and was the past president in 1980. She was a volunteer for and a lifetime member of the Anne Arundel County Fair, she was a 4H Club leader of AACO "Timberlings" of Hanover and a camp counselor for 4H clubs. She also enjoyed making rubber stamps, bead work and most any handicraft work. Cora was preceded in death by her sisters Lola Sellers and Mable Rosier; and her brother, Preston Patterson. She is survived by her beloved husband, Charles Ruby; son, C. Eric Ruby; daughter, Christine Vidourek; three brothers, Leroy, Howard and Oliver Patterson; one sister, Annie C. Simpers; and five grandchildren, Matthew Vidourek, Stacey Burrows and Heather, Travis and Chelsea Ruby. The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m., Sunday, January 22 at Fink Funeral Home, 426 Crain Hwy S. in Glen Burnie, where services will be held at noon, Monday, January 23. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery in Crownsville. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401, www.hospicechesapeake.org or the AACO Fair Association, P.O.
