Donald Bubert Pyle Jr.

Donald B. Pyle, Jr. of Stevensville, MD died on November 21, 2025. He was 69. He was born on November 29, 1955, the son of the late Donald Bubert Pyle, Sr, and Iris Davis Pyle. He married Jody Luedtke on October 13, 1979. Donald was a life-long waterman. In 1987 he began as the first employee with Patuxent Materials Inc. and helped the business to develop to its current status. He was affectionately known as "The Colonial". He was a legend at Patuxent and was still working at the time of his death. Donald loved trucks and hot rods. He was a member of the Kent Island Cruisers, Moose Lodge, Kent Island American Legion, and Kent Island United Methodist Church. He loved fishing, hunting, and was known as a lawn artist. In addition to his wife, he is survived by two daughters: Katelyn Murphy (Michael) of Blackstone, VA and Sarah Laster (Steve) of Stevensville, MD, a brother: Michael Pyle of Severna Park, MD, a sister: Beatrice Hanson of Lewes, DE, along with his grandchildren: Christopher Clark, Jacob Laster, Melanie Murphy, Michael Murphy, and William Murphy. One brother, Pierre Pyle, predeceased him in 2025. Services will be held on Tuesday, December 2nd at 6:00 PM at Fellows, Helfenbein, and Newnam Funeral Home 106 Shamrock Rd.
