While in her sixties, Betty took up snow skiing and enjoyed drum corps competitions, gardening, reading, cross-stitching, traveling, cooking and loved being with her children and grand-children. In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Vincent, who died Dec. 7, 2008; and brother, Robert Meyer, who died in May 2006.
