Francis Loetz Obituary
Francis "Frank" Loetz, 91, of Glen Burnie Maryland, passed away peacefully on June 22nd 2016. Frank was born on February 19th 1925 to Herman and Marie Loetz and is preceded in death by his wife of over 60 years Eileen Edith Loetz and son Gordon Henry Loetz. He is survived by brother Jackie Loetz, daughter-in-law Deborah Loetz, and 4 grandchildren Carter, Chase, Christopher, and Colby Loetz. As one on 8 children, Frank grew up in "Pig town" Baltimore and worked as a banker with Maryland National for 42 years. He served as a Private First Class in the United States Army and was awarded the Purple Heart for his contributions at Normandy in WWII. Frank's favorite things were playing cards with family and friends, picking Maryland blue crab, and cheering on the old Baltimore Colts. Friends and family are invited to attend a small service scheduled for 1pm Friday July 1st at Maryland Veterans Cemetery: 1080 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville Maryland.
