Jeffrey Howard Hartmann

Jeffrey Howard Hartmann was a beloved brother, uncle, and friend to many. Jeff grew up in Annapolis, spent his teenage summers working at the Bay Ridge Pool and graduated high school from Wroxeter on Severn and attended Temple University in Philadelphia on a football scholarship. Jeff found joy in music, photography, his nieces, and the open road. Traveling over one million miles as a cross-country trucker for C.R. England, Jeff photographed all of the contiguous forty-eight states which reflected his adventurous free spirit. Jeff will always be remembered for his quick wit, encyclopedic knowledge, and devotion to friends and family. He was everyone's protector. Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Marcie for whom he was a devoted caregiver for over a decade and nephew, Nathaniel. Jeff is survived by his sister, Suzanne of Harrisonburg, Virginia, his brother, Andy and sister-in-law, Sally of Sayville, New York and brother Chris of Woodstock, Virginia and his three beloved nieces, Emily Hartmann Occhiogrosso, Sadie Hartmann Gibson, and Gwynneth Hartmann-McAdam. The family is currently making plans for Jeff's funeral and reception. Further details will be shared soon.
