Kevin Ferguson

FERGUSON, KEVIN ALLAN, 29, of Davidsonville, Maryland, died unexpectedly at his home October 7, 2012. Kevin was born July 31, 1983, in Elizabeth City, NC, to Allan and Barbara Ferguson of Riva, MD. The family moved from Elizabeth City in May of 1985, first living in Arnold,then moving to Riva in 1989. Kevin was a graduate of Annapolis Area Christian School where he played lacrosse and wrestled under the coaching of Dick Bitzer. Kevin was hoping to apprentice as a plumber.

Kevin, with his sweet smile, loving demeanor and great "bear" hugs, adored his seven-month-old daughter, Hope. She was the light of his life and brought him great joy. He is also survived by his loving fiancé Jamie Johnson and her son, Patrick; his parents Allan and Barbara Ferguson; his sister Kelly Wiseman (Zachary) of Arnold; his sister Kathryn Ferguson of Riva; and his beloved grandparents Rev. H. James and Donna Ferguson of Annapolis. He is also survived by niece Norah, nephew Shane, and new nephew Gavin. He will be sorely missed by his many uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.

Family visitation and reception will be held at the Evangelical Presbyterian Church of Annapolis, 710 Ridgely Ave., Annapolis, MD, 21401, on Saturday, October 20 from 2-4 p.m. A memorial service will be held immediately following at 4 p.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, a scholarship is being established in his memory for his daughter, Hope. Donations may be made to the "Hope P. Ferguson Memorial Fund," c/o 3034 Rock Dr., Riva, MD 21140.
