Mark Mundell Obituary
Mark J. Mundell, 59, a resident of Severna Park passed away suddenly on October 6, 2017 of a heart attack. Mark was born on April 22, 1958 in Washington, DC and grew up in the District Heights area. He graduated from Salisbury University in 1981 as a student athlete (football) and lived in the Annapolis area for many years. Mark was an Allstate Insurance agent and maintained his own agency for over 20 years in Dundalk and Pasadena. He was known for his attention and care to his customers, many who were with him for years. Mark was a dedicated family man and a kind friend who would do anything to help someone else. He was a devoted husband to his wife Debra and was an amazing father to his son Mason and daughter Lauren Deery and her husband Kregg. He is survived by his brother Charles Mundell and wife Paula of Delaware and sister Mary Boyce of Ellicott City along with many loving family members and friends. Family and friends may visit on Friday, October 13th from 2:00 to 4:00PM and 6:00 to 8:00PM at the Barranco & Sons, P.A. Severna Park Funeral Home, 495 Ritchie Hwy. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Severna Park at 10 AM on Saturday, October 14th with a private burial to follow. My sincere sympathy to Mark's family. I met Mark when he was interviewing for Allstate. It was always a pleasure to work with him. He was a great guy, gone too soon. Mark was well liked and respected... may he rest in peace.

My condolences to the entire Mundell Family. Mark, was a very kind and generous man/boss. He gave me my first insurance agent job back in 1991. Here it is 2017 and I'm still a producer for Allstate. I will always be grateful for having met him back in 1991 at his agency in Dundalk. Debra, Mason & Lauren you three had his heart. Rest In Peace Mark

He was a fierce competitor and showed great sportsmanship.

Mark was a great guy. We met in 1988 while starting with Allstate. Great memories there working together. Mark was always a solid person and well liked by everyone. It is so sad to hear of his passing. My heart goes out to Debra and family. This is a real loss to us all. He will surly be missed by so many.
