The beloved wife of Mike Prokopchak; mother of Michael Christopher, Matthew Stephen, and Mark Francis (Theresa) Prokopchak, all of the Annapolis area; daughter of the late Steve G. and Mary Rakoczi Beretsel; sister of the late Steven E. Beretsel; grandmother of Christopher, Lily, and Garrett and sister-in-law of Pearl Beretsel. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Mary Lou's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Tuesday, December 9 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Ave., Davidsonville, MD on Wednesday, December 10 at 10:00 am. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Catholic Church, youth religious programs or to a charity of one's choice in Mary Lou's name.
