Michael Cranston Obituary

CRANSTON JR., THOMAS MICHAEL, 38, died November 26. He was born on October 27, 1975 to his parents, Thomas Michael Cranston, Sr. and Mary Alice Cranston in Annapolis, MD. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Lisa; his children, Alexis Renee Cranston and Thomas Michael Cranston, III; and his sisters, Kasey Hedler and Amanda Brunt. He lived in Anne Arundel County, MD his whole life, graduating in 1995 from Southern High School, where he played football and made so many wonderful friends. Shortly after graduation, he attended the ABC Electrical Apprenticeship in Annapolis. In his pursuit to gain knowledge in the electrical trade, he enrolled with the IBEW Local 26 Electrical Apprenticeship where he learned the ins and outs of the commercial industry, and graduated in June 2001. He was an amazing electrician and a jack of all trades. In 2002, Mike received his master's license from the State Board of Electrical Examiners. With entrepreneur dreams and his "shoot for the stars" look on life, he opened his own electrical contracting company, Primary Electrical Services. Mike and Lisa were married on October 16, 1999, and parents to Alexis Renee (17 yrs old) and Thomas Michael (11 yrs old). He adored his family and enjoyed spending all of his time with them. He also enjoyed turkey and deer hunting, farming food plots, four wheeling and dirt bike riding. His love for Motocross and determination won him a state championship at Budds Creek. He was every bit of a man's man and outdoorsman. Mike loved the Chesapeake Bay and was an avid waterman. He enjoyed, fishing, crabbing, kayaking and boat rides through Rhodes River. A service will be held at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship, 337 West Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035 on Friday, December 6, 2013 at 7pm. Please join his family in remembering his life. He will forever be in our hearts and minds.

Mike I'm so sorry about what happened. Alexis and little Mike are in my prayers. You'll be there guiding them as they grow through wind you'll whisper, through tears you'll quickly dry and through their laughter you'll be in their smiles. I still have that tape you gave me of you riding that dirt bike so you go ride now till the kids meet you again. I'm glad to have had the pleasure of knowing you!
