Noella Koryak Obituary

Noella E. Koryak (nee Beland), 70, died March 17 at BWMC in Glen Burnie. She was born in Quebec, Canada, where she met and married Dr. Ozker Koryak, who preceded her in death in 1983. A Maryland resident since 1966, she became an American citizen in 1984. Noella was an excellent cook and enjoyed cooking for others, spending time in Ocean City with family and friends, and gardening. She is survived by two sons, Can Koryak of Annapolis and Francois Koryak of Millersville; three sisters, Ursula Beland, Linda Beland, and Beatrice Chouinard, all of Canada; nephew Stephan Bednar; and many other nieces, nephews and great-nephews, all of whom reside in her native Canada. Services and interment will be held in Canada. The family requests that contributions be made in her name to the Critical Care Unit at BWMC in Glen Burnie..
