Pamela L. Werwie, a resident of Deale, MD, passed away on Sunday, October 10th, 2021. She was born September 5th, 1954, in Takoma Park, MD, to the late Robert and Helena O'Dell. Pamela, known as Pam, moved to Shady Side, MD, in the late 1970s with her first husband, the late James R Coxen. She worked for the Anne Arundel and Prince Georges County school system as a bus driver and cafeteria worker for 35 years. Pam also worked as a waitress and bartender in the South Anne Arundel County area for over 40 years. She served many of her beloved customers at restaurants such as Pirates Cove, Calypso Bay, and Petie Greens. She loved her work and her customers. Pam enjoyed living near the water in Deale Beach, MD, with her husband, Ray Werwie. She loved going to the beach, spending time at her husband's farm in Western Pennsylvania gardening, dancing, listening to music, and spending time with her family and friends. Pam is survived by her husband Ray, her sisters Penny and Juanita, her children Christopher, Rachael, and David, her grandson Rhys, her step-children Michael, Jeanne, Miecha, and Damon, step-grandchildren Andrew, Ashley, Carrie, Amelia, Campbell, Alexa, Claire, Charlie and Isla, her loving nieces Andréa, Anikka and Ava and so many more beloved family members A visitation will be held on Friday October 15, 2021 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM and Saturday from 12-1 PM at the Hardesty Funeral Home, P.A. 905 Galesville Road Galesville, MD 20765 where a service will begin Saturday at 1:00 PM.
