Phillip Oliver

Phillip Carl Oliver, 81, passed peacefully to his heavenly home on Monday, August 16, 2021. He will be remembered fondly by all who knew him as the man with the snowball stand. He loved seeing the children in the neighborhood grow into adults and had many friends in the community including those on his softball team. He leaves behind his beloved wife of 60 years, Joyce Oliver (Showers), his adoring daughters Susan Kolb, Melissa Novak, and Patricia Knight, and a dear neighbor and friend Frank Weese. He is survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren whom he adored. Phil worked as a typesetter and retired from the GPO. He enjoyed collecting older cars and especially loved antique corvettes.
