Robert "Bob" Stanley Leek, age 69, of Annapolis, MD, passed away on Monday, January 3, 2022. Born on August 4, 1952 in Annapolis, MD to the late Patricia C. and Stanley C. Leek, Jr. Bob was a 1970 graduate of Annapolis Senior High School and later Anne Arundel Community College. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1972-74 and in the U.S. Navy Reserves from 1974-76. Bob worked as a Radio Communications Technician for Wilmer's Communications of Edgewater, MD, ARINC of Annapolis, MD and the State of Maryland. Bob was a proud member of the U.S. Navy Band, the Annapolis Elks Lodge #622 and American Legion, Post 7 in Crownsville, MD. His hobbies and interests were many and they included bowling, fishing, playing piano in "The New Moods" band and attending Bowie Baysox games. Bob will forever be remembered for his musical talent, witty humor and love for his family and friends. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Kathryn R. Leek; his children, James (Christina) Leitch, Sr. and Jason M. (Bridget) Leitch; his siblings, Jeffery K. (Marilyn) and David B. (Patricia) Leek and Patricia A. (Richard) King and his grandchildren, Sierra, Dakota, James and Henry. Friends are invited to celebrate Bob's life at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Thursday, January 13 from 12 noon until his funeral service begins at 1:00 pm.
