Stacey Lee (Young) Boyd, 51, died Janurary 2 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of complications due to emphysema. Stacey, one of four children, was born on February 17, 1960, in Annapolis to Joan R. and Earle W. Young Jr. A resident of Grasonville, and formerly of Severna Park and Edgewater, Stacey was a graduate of Southern High School in 1977. She worked as an accountant and office manager for many years. She was a former member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church in Edgewater, and St.John the Evangelist in Severna Park. Stacey is survived by her husband, Martin Boyd of Arnold; her daughter, Katelyn Boyd (Michael) Uhl of Arnold; her parents, Joan and Earle Young of Grasonville; her siblings, Deborah (Carl) Schanberger of Traceys Landing, Kelly (Patrick) Day of Lusby, Stephen Young of Crownsville; and many nieces and nephews. In accordance with Stacey's wishes, arrangements will be private.

I am terribly sorry to hear about Stacey. She was such a beautiful woman and she passed away much too young. My heart goes out to you and the family. May she be at peace now.
