Theodore Coleman Obituary



Theodore Robert Coleman, 83 of Annapolis Maryland passed peacefully and with grace surrounded by his loving family on May 15 2016. Ted was born in Washington DC on July 15 1932 to parents Jean Crandall Coleman Broulik, and Robert Coleman of Washington DC. Ted is survived by his devoted wife of 32 years, Debbie Webster Coleman of Annapolis MD, and his first wife, Jeanne Coleman of Fla. and their children, daughters Deborah Coleman Zakikhani of Fla, Monica Coleman of NY, Michelle Coleman Witham of Mass, sons Steve Howell of VA and Robert Howell, deceased. His siblings, Patricia Coleman of CA, Jay Coleman of West Virginia, Robert Coleman of Colorado and sister Diane Coleman deceased, brothers Bruce Broulik of Florida, Franta Broulik of New Jersey and Jan Broulik of Maryland. Ted served his country in the Korean War, was an avid boatsman, fisherman, aviator, entrepreneur, banker and artist in his early years working as an illustrator for the newspaper. He worked diligently for 40 years in the banking industry as a respected commercial loan officer in Maryland. Ted continued working full time until the age of 82, a true testament to his industrious nature and work ethic. He was known for his kind, generous nature and rye sense of humor. A casual memorial service is planned for family and friends Sunday May 29 2016 at 2pm at the Raymond Wood Funeral Home 10684 Southern Maryland Blvd, Dunkirk, MD 20754 with a gathering afterwards at the home of Donna and Gary Phipps Sr 4546 Owensville Sudley Rd. Harwood, MD 20778.
