Virginia McNally Obituary

Virginia "Ginny" McNally 96, died in her home April 27. Born August 2, 1916 in Chicago, IL to the late Joseph and Christine Alvarez, Ginny and her husband, LTC James McNally, lived throughout the world while he served in the military until they settled in Crofton. Ginny was an Olympic Speed Skater, a certified swim instructor, and an avid bridge player. In addition to her parents and husband, Ginny was preceded in death by her siblings, Rose and Joe. She is survived by her son Dennis; two daughters, Virginia (Bruce) and Kathy (Jim); two sisters, Hazel and Lorraine; six grandchildren, Deidra, Dennis, Kelly, Dennis, Heather, and Michael; 15 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 NW Crain Hwy. (Rte.3 South), Bowie. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Wednesday, May 1 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, 1800 Seton Dr., Crofton. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, www.heart.org. Please view and sign the family's guestbook at: www.beallfuneral.com
