John "Jack" Decker
1942 - 2026
John Decker Obituary
He graduated from the University of South Dakota in 1969 and worked in construction before spending four years in Alaska as a camp manager on the Trans Alaska Pipeline. He later worked for many years managing and training racehorses at Philadelphia Park, residing in Dover, Delaware.
Jack valued hard work, loyalty, and straight talk and was known for his dry humor.
He is survived by his brothers Henry (Jim) Decker and William (Bill) Decker, his godson Aaron Jordan, and several nieces and nephews. Burial will take place in Nenzel, Nebraska with a service in White River, date not yet set. Arrangements are with Kincaid Funeral Home.
