Linda DeVries Obituary
Mom collected misfits like some collect stones. She held them in her hands until they got warm and then tucked them into her pocket until she could get them home and make them homemade noodles. She loved the broken, the what-nots, the black sheep, and as her light left this world she left a brave piece of her in every soul she touched.
She was fierce and brave and unapologetically who she was, right to her last breath. She'll be remembered as a warrior- a battle buddy to the people she met in chemo, and an inspiration to others in the fight all across the world.
Welcoming her on the other side are her son Tyrell, her brother John, her granddaughter Katie, and what I'm sure is a very lively card table of family that has been waiting to deal her in.
She is survived by her daughter Melissa (Micheal), granddaughter Olivia, brothers and sisters Mikki, Diane, Ernie and David, step children Brandon and Tana, those she affectionately would call co-parents- Kelly and Kat Martin & Tim and Olinda Nottingham, and the countless friends and family across the miles that make up her 'cancer army'.
Friends and family are welcome to join us in remembrance in Arizona on October 10th and Montana on November 8th to celebrate her life.

"MamaLady" was indeed a warrior, a fighter and an inspiration to more than those who were suffering the the battle of cancer with her. She was also an inspiration to everyone who was around her as she fought. Her fighting spirit showed us how tenacious she was. She was a free spirit while she was with us, and I'm confident that will not change while, as her daughter Melissa said, those who have gone before her have been waiting to deal her in at the card table. It will be a pleasure for me to be dealt in when my time comes.
