Mary Orler Obituary

Mary Orler made the peaceful journey home on January 16, 2024. Mary was surrounded by those she loved the most, her family and friends. Mary was born in Billings MT on October 17, 1951 to John and Rose Orler. Mary is survived by her sister Louise, and her best friend/cousin/partner in crime Gerianne Zagoric. She is also survived by the following family members Carol, Patty, Anne, Melissa, Renee, Genefer, Chris, and many additional family members, too numerous to mention.

Mary graduated from Red Lodge High School in 1969. She attended St Vincent's school of nursing and graduated as a registered nurse in 1972. Mary had an impressive 50 year career as a nurse working at Beartooth Billings Clinic and Billings Clinic. Mary was well loved and touched many lives with her compassion for caring for others. She was an active member of St. Agnes Church and the Italian Victory Girls Club. Mary loved spoiling children and her family and friends. Many members of the Red Lodge Community were touched by Mary's gentle spirit.

The family would like to thank Beartooth Billings Clinic for the tremendous outpouring of love and support. Many have gone above and beyond to help Mary. A special thanks to Dr William Oley for his kind and gentle support in Mary's final days. Any memorials can be to St. Agnes Church or Beartooth Billings Clinic.

Mary's last message was "Family is everything." She will be greatly missed.

Mary Rose was one of the kindest and humblest people I have ever known. I so admired how she took care of Louise. I am fortunate and grateful to have known her.

R.I.P. Mary Rose...you were one of the kindest women I've ever met. Your compassion and dedication to your sister Louise was unmatched in love, care, and devotion. You were the smartest girl in our class :=)
