To Jeni, Jocelyn, Bryan, & Matt: dear family of our beloved friend, Russ. Our deepest thoughts and sympathies to all of you dear children (and families of Russ Born.
He was such a dear man, loved his family, made lasting friendships wherever he went, and a barbershopper, and a musician. And it was all done with such Grace. He was always ready for the next challenge and such an inspiration to all of us. A kinder friend you couldn´t find.
He seemed to have two views on people: people who are my friends, and folks I haven´t met yet. A better example of a gifted man, you could not find.
As you gather to remember the man, have great thoughts of the that kinder, loving man who was your faith filled source of direction and guidance.
I´m sure today, between songs of praise, somewhere in heaven, Russ is reaching out to others. And possibly teaching them tags.
Love you all. Love you, Russ. RIP. Alan & Karen Matchinsky, Apple Valley, Minnesota.

It was my honor and privilege to call Russ my friend. He was always so kind and caring. Always made you feel special every time you spoke with him.
My heartfelt condolences to Jeni and the kids. I picture him smiling and singing in the celestial choir now. How much sweeter the music is now for having him. He will be SO missed.
