April Rose Obituary
April Shannon Rose, 43, of Griffin, Ga., died Friday, Feb. 1, 2013, at home, after an extended Illness.
Born Oct. 22, 1969, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of father and stepmother Gary and Jo Rose, and mother and stepfather Cheryl and Eddie Nokes.
She formerly worked as the office manager for Signus Communication. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, going to the beach, and her cat and dog.
Surviving, in addition to her parents and stepparents, are sisters Angela Foley and husband Doug, and Kandice Rose; brother Tony Rose and wife Patricia; nephews and nieces Brett Blizzard, Brooke Blizzard, Lauren Rose, Drew Rose, Justin Rose and Tyler Foley; grandparents Cecil and Eleanor Rose; fiance Joseph Rodgers; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Conner-Westbury Funeral Home, 1891 W. McIntosh Road, Griffin, with the Rev. Winfred Dixson officiating. Friends may visit the family following the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to Angels of Eternal Hope, 732 W. Taylor St., Griffin, GA 30223-2720.
