I met Ben in Alaska on a hunting trip. He was a funny, kind man that spoke of his family fondly. God Speed Ben!

R.I.P. Ben. My condolences to Mary and the family. "Paw Paw" was always a close friend of the family. I will never forget when I was a little boy my Superman action figure lost its arm. "Paw Paw" told me that Superman needed to go to John's Hopkins to be fixed and that they would deliver him back to me. Well he got a new action figure for me and when my family was at his house he flew over top of the house and dropped the new and improved Superman down with a small parachute. Thats something I always remembered. Thanks " Paw Paw"!

Ben will always hold a very special place in my heart. He referred to us as "the nurses who took care of Doris" but always made us feel a part of his family. I have known Ben and his family for 28 years. Mary you are a BIG part of why he stayed as "young" as he was. My thoughts and prayers are with you and the entire family.
Love, Kim

Ben was a wonderful man. He was my father's very " BEST" friend, my father's confidont. Ben was always there for my father, supportive, understanding and devoted. He was truly an outstanding man who touched the lives of many. He will be missed dearly but will remain in our hearts forever. Our deepest condolences to Mary Grubbs and family. RIP Ben. We will forever love you!!! Love Steve and Kim Wilmer.
