Carol, Jimmy and Jeffrey there are no words that I can say that will help heal the hole in your hearts. I am truly saddened by this loss of precious life. I can't begin to tell you I understand because it's hard for me to comprehend , I watched Brian grow from a young boy into a wonderful man. I saw what kind of great father he was and how much he loved his girls. I will truly miss him but I am blessed to be able to have him in my memories. If I can do anything for you please call me. 443 871 5487. You were great neighbors and I will keep you all in my prayers. God Bless you all. I send you lots of hugs with a lot of love.

Words cant begin to express the shock, nor, the sadness. My sympathy and more so my prayers will continue to go out to the family, especially, his parents, and his children. I worked directly with Brian for a year in a small 4 (cinder block) wall office on the ground floor of Bldg 59 at Pepco. It was four of us (Joint-Use) in that tight office and we got a lot of work done and Brian was very intregal part of the team. You learn a lot about people in tight presurized situations. And what I know about Brian has me certain that he will be deerly missed. He pulled a lot of early morning and late evenings to provide for his family, especially his girls. I saw his dedication first-hand and he was very proud. His smile said it all.

Rest in Peace Brian!

My prayers to Brian's loved ones. I worked with Brian when I was in Joint Use Dept at PHI. Brian was always available to help whenever needed. He always stopped whatever he was doing to answer a question or provide an input. He was a people person and very caring. I remembered once he walked from his office building to mine just to give me an advice on an issue .
Brian will be missed.

Brian was a friend who always had a kind word to say, a smile for all, and gave laughter to all he knew. In our teenage years he added so much to every opportunity we had to spend time just being kids. May God bless all as we remember him fondly and with great love. Love to you and all those who he touched. Ranesa

Sending heartfelt sympathy to all of the Scalio family. I was a high school friend of Jim's but I am certain that my brother was in your beloved Brian's class. Since my brother is not here to send his prayers I will do it for the both of us. May you find some comfort as you remember him. My brother Scotty has been gone almost 5 years and it still feels like yesterday. May you find comfort in all who knew and loved him. Love, Lisa Baranowski

Brain and I meet and became friends at our daughters soccer games. Having had a chance to meet and become friends even for a short time was a true blessing. He and I would walk up and down the side of the field trying not to get over excited and yell to much. Of course we weren't always successful at that, especially when the girls won the championship game. My family and I are deeply saddened by his passing and our prayers of comfort go out to his entire family. The sidelines will not be the same without him.

The first time we met was over 30 years ago, you were running down the hall to get to class at B.P.H.S. and you bumped into me. You looked up and said I'm sorry and continued to class :-) Little did I know at the time that later that year, I would grow to love you like a brother. You we a mischievous boy, with a great personality, always joking, always laughing, so loveable and you surely knew how to make everyone who knew you smile. Your bright smile lit up the room when you entered it. We spent many fun times together going to movies, putt putt, out to eat, cook outs and pool parties at my parents' house, and so much more. Throughout the years, we lost touch only speaking or seeing each other once in a while. You became such a great man!! You were such a kind hearted person, a loyal husband, a loving father, a devoted son, an awesome brother, an amazing uncle, a good friend to so many and you will surely be missed by everyone who were blessed to know you!!! It was so unbelievable, when I received the call from your Mom of your unexpected passing. Brian may you R.I.P. and may the Lord's unconditional love, compassion and peace fill your heart and spirit........AMEN!!!! I will love you always and forever my brother and friend <3

I'm at loss - I was fortunate enough to have Brian as a brother in law in my late teens and twenties - He was fun, intelligent, and caring...we spent many nites playing one on one on a poorly lit basketball court in New Windsor - I went to more bowling alleys and driving ranges with him than I can count - some of the funnest concerts I've ever been to he was right there - I will hold on to these memories, and many more, and keep them close - more recently we reconnected and got to introduce our kids to each other - we hung out and began to share some experiences again - I'm incredibly sad i wont have that opportunity to create more - he was family and a friend - i give my deepest sympathy to his girls and to each of us affected by his passing.
