Cletus Lippy Obituary

Cletus Eugene Lippy Jr., 36, of Keymar, died unexpectedly Saturday, May 12, 2012, at Frederick Memorial Hospital.

Born Sept. 13, 1975, in Westminster, he was the son of Cletus E. Lippy Sr., of Keymar, and the late Barbara Stephan Lippy.

He worked as a landscaper at a vineyard. He was a 1995 graduate of Linganore High School. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, video games, watching movies, NASCAR, playing pool, riding his four-wheeler, working on cars, hanging out with his friends and spending time with his dog, Alvie.

Surviving, in addition to his father, are stepmother Tina Myers, of Keymar; girlfriend Teresa Smith, of Keymar; aunts and uncles Shirley Hughes and husband Bill, Kenny Lippy, Roy Lippy, Rick Lippy and wife Judy, Jerry Lippy and wife Wanda, Burnell Lippy and wife Linda, Lois Stephan, Wayne Stephan and wife Elsie, Terry Stephan and wife Janet, Jerry Stephan and wife Sandy, James Stephan, Charles Stephan, Danny Stephan and wife Melanie, Diane Stephan, Margaret Stephan and husband Randy, and Greg Stephan and wife Judy; and numerous cousins.

He was predeceased by uncles Ken, Robert, David and Donald Stephan Jr.

The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Pritts Funeral Home & Chapel, 412 Washington Road, Westminster.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Anne Durboraw, of St. Lukes (Winter's) Church, officiating. Interment will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery.
