Constance Kirby Obituary



Constance Frances Kirby, 69, of Westminster, died Monday, October 3, 2016, at the Dove House. Born August 14, 1947 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Helen (Juozaitis) Yarashevich and Charles T. Sigel. She was the beloved wife of Thomas H. Kirby, her husband of 50 years. Before retiring she worked over 30 years at Carroll Hospital Center, most recently as a scheduling coordinator. She was a member of St. John Catholic Church and member of the Carroll County Master Gardeners. In addition to her husband, she is survived by children and spouses; Jeffrey T. and Toni Kirby of Baltimore, Gregory M. and Stephanie Kirby of Westminster, and Andrea K. and Brent Ormiston of Westminster; brothers and sisters-in-law; Nelson and Lorraine Jenkins of Williards, MD, Robert and Donna Jenkins of Baltimore and Christopher and Diana Yarashevich of Apex, NC; grandchildren Lucas, Alexis, Zachary and Evan Kirby and Theresa and Maria Ormiston. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Friday, October 7, 2016 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Fletcher Funeral & Cremation Services, 254 E. Main St., Westminster. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 8, 2016 at 12 noon at St. John Catholic Church, 43 Monroe St., Westminster. Interment will be private.
