Daniel Rivenbark Obituary

Daniel David Rivenbark, Sr., 65, of Hampstead, MD passed away Monday, May 10, 2021 at his home. Born August 22, 1955 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Nancy (Underwood) Rivenbark of Forest Hill, MD and the late Ivey Rivenbark. He was the beloved husband of Hilary (Mathai) Rivenbark. Daniel graduated from Dulaney High School and continued on to a successful 43 year career with Capital Electric as an outside salesman, garnering many career accomplishments and accolades throughout. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, sport shooting and had a particular love for deep sea fishing. He owned several deep sea fishing boats over the years and was a licensed master boating Captain. He was also passionate about both motorcycles and classic cars, and competed in amateur flat-track motorcycle racing when he was young. Surviving, in addition to his wife, are his son and daughter-in-law, Daniel D. Rivenbark, Jr. and Kristine Krzyszton, both of Hagerstown, MD; daughter, Kendall C. Rivenbark of Hampstead; brother and sister-in-law, Thomas Rivenbark and Pamela Rivenbark and sister, Mary Matusky, all of Forest Hill, MD, as well as several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held Monday, May 17, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. in Hampstead Cemetery, 4114 Black Rock Road, Hampstead, MD with Pastor Cole Peck officiating. A visitation for family and friends will follow from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. Monday at Eline Funeral Home, 934 South Main Street, Hampstead, MD. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Operation Paws for Homes, P.O. Box 35606, North Chesterfield, VA 23235 or They Rescue Us (TRU) Rescue, P.O. Box 27, Phoenix, MD 21131.
